Traveling with Caleb requires a suitcase for books. Technically, SBTS's Spring Break is called 'Spring Reading Days.'

Sickies

This past weekend, Caleb and Nella were bitten by the 48 hour flu bug!

Here's little sickie enjoying a nice cold Popsicle. She has also been teething, so the icy cold must feel great on her gums. We hope those new bottom teeth come in soon!

Thankfully, they are both feeling much better, and Caleb didn't have to miss any work or classes.

Quick Trip To Evansville

On Wednesday, me and Nella spent the day in Evansville, Indiana with Nana Sipe, Aunt Becky, and Cousin Marley.   We had fun hanging out together and Nana had fun holding both of her grandbabies at the same time.

Nella's First Birthday Part 3 - The Video

Here's a little video from the party.  We had made Nella a 'big sister' t shirt.  She was wearing it under a sweater.  We asked Nana Sipe to take Nella's sweater off of her before we served the birthday cake so it wouldn't get messy.  As you'll see, Nana, and everyone else, was quite surprised!  There was much rejoicing, which caused a mini freak-out session for Nella.  After everyone settled down, we sang Happy Birthday to Nella and gave her cake.  She just picked at her big cake, but really seemed to enjoy her little cupcake.  It was a fun party and we were glad to celebrate with good family and friends.

Nella's First Birthday

Here are a few photos from Nella's 1st birthday party.  The decorations were pink and brown and so cute and girly!  

She loved her birthday flowers!

She didn't love her giant cupcake as much as we were hoping.  She also did not love her birthday princess crown (it wouldn't be a first birthday party without a mini-meltdown!).  She did, however, enjoy a small cupcake.  I guess it was easier for her to manage!
